Privacy policy
Last updated 31 October 2026.
Air Business Loans is a division of TechGen ("we", "us"). This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website and our enquiry process. We aim to handle it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Contact details: your name, mobile number, email address and role in the business.
- Business details: business name, ABN, industry, state, time trading, turnover and the amount and purpose of the funding you are asking about.
- Financial context you choose to share, such as whether you own property, existing loans, tax debt and credit history.
- Website information: the pages you visit, how you arrived, campaign tags and the device and browser you use.
How we collect it
Mostly directly from you when you complete our enquiry form or talk with our team. We also record how you found the website, such as the page you first landed on and the page you enquired from. With your agreement we may receive information from bank statement and identity verification services, public registers such as the Australian Business Register, and advisers you nominate.
Why we use it
To respond to your enquiry, understand your business, identify suitable finance options, help progress an application if you choose to proceed, keep records, improve our website and meet our legal obligations. We may contact you about your enquiry by phone, SMS and email.
Who we share it with
Only those who need it to help with your enquiry: the lender or funder that suits your situation, related finance businesses that assess and settle business loans, verification providers, professional advisers, our technology and service providers, and government bodies where the law requires. We do not sell your information and we do not send your enquiry to a long list of lenders. Some service providers may store data outside Australia, and where that happens we take reasonable steps to protect it.
Credit checks
Enquiring does not involve a credit check. A lender may request your consent to check your credit file if you decide to proceed with an option, and you will be told before that happens.
Analytics and cookies
We use basic analytics to understand how the website is used and which pages help people. Advertising storage is switched off. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings.
Keeping information secure
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted connections, access controls and trusted providers. Information we no longer need is deleted or de-identified.
Access, correction and complaints
To request a copy of your details, ask us to fix something that is wrong, or raise a privacy concern, get in touch by submitting a request through our contact page. We will respond within a reasonable time. Should our reply leave the matter unresolved, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) handles privacy complaints.
